Have you read the “About us” intro? Then you already have a bit of an idea. Dresses that aren’t the “typical bridal” kind. Dresses we choose with a lot of thought—and a lot of heart too—designed for real women, with real bodies, who want to feel good on their wedding day. Here, you don’t have to fit into any size: the dress adapts to you, not you to the dress.
Our selection of bridal collections is for those looking for comfort with style—for those who want a piece that makes them feel beautiful, but not like they’re in costume (costumes are for Carnival).
And now I’m going to give you a short summary of the story behind the dresses I choose and that are made for us.
Marylise i Rembo Atelier
Two Lines, One Vision.
Marylise and Rembo Atelier are esteemed lines under a single house—a family business established in 1926 and now operated by its fourth generation.
The current leadership brings a contemporary viewpoint, consciously moving beyond traditional conventions. With direct experience—one sibling having selected her wedding dress as a bride, the other supporting that process as a partner—they possess unique insight into both perspectives of the bridal journey. This dual perspective equips them with a clear understanding of modern brides’ expectations: to feel liberated, authentic, and elegantly represented on their special day.
The design team maintains ongoing engagement with clients, ensuring their creations reflect the needs and aspirations of actual brides rather than abstract ideals. They prioritize open communication to understand how brides wish to feel, move, and celebrate during their weddings.
All gowns are custom-made, meticulously handcrafted in Portugal with exceptional attention to detail. Each dress is produced exclusively upon order, guaranteeing individuality.
The atelier operates without stock or mass production, focusing solely on made-to-order pieces crafted for each individual client. Every gown is accompanied by the bride’s name throughout the entire process, from the initial cut to the final label.
I have a special fondness for Marylise
It was with this collection that I began my career as a sales agent over twenty years ago.
But I’ll tell you that story when you come to try on the dresses. Knowing the collection as I do, I’d say it’s for you if you’re looking for a dress with style and presence—but only with the essentials.

Now, let’s talk about the “younger sibling,” Rembo, which came into my life a little later as a collection I represent.
Since then, I’ve watched it grow, evolve, and set trends.
It’s been like seeing a child grow: its journey and evolution never fail to surprise.
And how would I describe Rembo? There are dresses you don’t even need to try on to know they speak to you. You see them and hear a gentle voice whispering: you are exactly where you need to be.
They aren’t dresses that transform you—they’re dresses that accompany you. Pieces that move effortlessly with you, never forcing a shape. No corsets, no costumes. Just freedom. Light, ethereal dresses that flow with your movements and evoke the sensation of a soft breeze caressing your face, refreshing you without disturbing a hair… you know the feeling.

This little collection began simply because I kept meeting brides looking for a very particular kind of dress. One they just couldn’t find anywhere else. Precise. Considered. And, by chance, very much aligned with my own taste and vision for bridal fashion.
Almost without realising it, I created a capsule of dresses, designed and crafted in our own atelier. Understated. Balanced. Naturally elegant. Dresses I would happily wear myself.

I’m not exactly what you’d call a small size — I’m more of a fuller-figured woman.
